What are the key differences between Fusion XVR and Salus NVR
Fusion and Salus recorders are a product made by APro with similar characteristics between them. In this paper, we will outline the key differences and the use cases for the two products to help you distinguish between the two.
Fusion XVR is an H.264 based full hybrid recorder, it accepts AHD, TVI, CVI, CVBS & IP cameras. - The perfect recorder to implement in older installations where an upgrade is needed to accept older cameras in place or to part swap cameras and have a partial HD setup. Fusion is also perfect for brand new installs where futureproofing is required. Fusion accepts most camera technologies available in the industry which most manufacturers simply can't achieve, together with ONVIF compliance it also works with IP products without any hindrance to performance. Fusion is 4K certified and is a perfect example of a Fusion of technologies working in harmony. Fusion has 3 Intelligent senses built in as standard (outlined below):

Fusion supports Analogue cameras up to 5MP HD and IP cameras up to 8MP UHD.
Salus NVR is a Full 4K H.265 based recorder as standard. It accepts only IP cameras up to a resolution of 8MP 4K. This recorder is perfect for installs where a client is already on an IP based infrastructure or requires futureproofing to 4K. Salus takes any resolution cameras (up to 8MP) from any manufacturer working seamlessly using ONVIF. Salus has 6 Intelligent senses built in as standard (outlined below):
